Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology B Special Topic Collection

Manuscript Deadline: June 23, 2027

Papers presented will be published together in a Special Topic Collection on the Physics and Chemistry of Surfaces and Interfaces in the Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology B, one of the premier journals in applied physics and related fields. Upon acceptance, papers will publish in the next open issue of JVST B and be placed into this Special Collection online. To continue this tradition of outstanding conference articles, we strongly encourage you to submit a manuscript related to the topic of your PCSI presentation; whether poster, upgraded talk, or invited talk. There are no page charges.

Submission Guidelines

Submit your manuscripts to JVST using the journal’s online manuscript submission system. In preparing your article, you should follow the instructions for contributors, which may be found here.

Authors are encouraged to use the JVST templates. The easiest way to prepare your manuscript is to use the available JVST Article Template to delete and replace text as necessary. Article templates are available at the site above.

Online, you will have the opportunity to tell us that your paper is a part of the collection by choosing the Special Topic Collection on “Physics and Chemistry of Surfaces and Interfaces.” For the initial submission/review process, a single PDF of the manuscript including the figures is sufficient.

Note: Please observe the deadline. JVST will include papers submitted after this deadline but we encourage timely submission.
